Aggregate Knowledge connects data and media across all channels to enable marketers to gain actionable insights into their current campaigns for increased reach and sales. As a neutral provider, Aggregate Knowledge helps advertisers pinpoint exactly where to invest to generate more sales, get cross-channel insights in a single view, and grow addressable markets, ensuring media spend efficiency across a marketers entire budget.

Aggregate Knowledge (“AK”) is committed to the responsible use of personal information to help businesses make better decisions and deliver personalized content without sacrificing personal privacy. To accomplish this goal, we have adopted the principle of Privacy by Design, taking personal privacy into consideration throughout the process of designing, building, and delivering information products and services. This Privacy Policy describes our collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information received through our web site, www.aggregateknowledge.com, and the non-personal information received in connection with our Media Intelligence Platform. Personal Information is data that personally identifies you, such as your name, email address or billing information, or other data that we can reasonably link to that kind of information.


Information You Provide on our Web Sites. On our web sites, we collect Personal Information only if you choose to give it to us, for example by inquiring about or registering with us for our services, subscribing to RSS feeds or blog posts or electing to “follow” AK on social media sites. You should be aware that any information you post on our blog may be read, collected, and used by other blog readers. Like all web sites, we automatically collect Log Data about your visits. This information does not identify you to us unless you have given us your name, contact information, or other Personal Information. We use Personal Information and Log Data to respond to your requests, process transactions you initiate, improve our web site, and deliver personalized content to you. We may disclose that information to third parties to help us in these activities, such as an email service provider that sends email communications to you on our behalf, but we do not allow them to use the Personal Information for other purposes.

AK Media Intelligence Platform. Aggregate Knowledge collects, aggregates, and analyzes log and web site data when you visit the websites of our publisher, retailer, and advertiser customers. This information does not identify you personally, and may include your IP address, browser type, referring URL, operating system, date/time stamps, pages viewed, clicks, conversions, and simple keyword tags. We may also collect information that our customers obtain offline and then provide to us. In addition, AK collects demographic, behavioral, and contextual data from trusted third parties to improve the targeting accuracy and performance of our Media Platform. None of this information identifies you personally.

Aggregate Knowledge aggregates and analyzes the data we receive in order to provide reports to our publisher, retailer, and advertiser customers. These reports give our customers actionable insights, such as information about the demographics and interests of their users, what advertisements were displayed, which ones visitors interacted with, etc. We provide this information to our customers in order for them to improve the performance of their advertising campaigns, to better understand their audiences and to enhance the relevance of advertisements you see.



Cookies are text files placed on a computer browser that can be used to recognize you as a web site user or to provide personalized content. Web beacons or “clear Gifs” are tiny graphics with a unique identifier that are used to track on-site activities of unique but unidentified website users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer hard drive, web beacons are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence.

Web site Visitors. We may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags or similar technologies, along with other information described in this policy to enhance and personalize your experience on our sites and to manage and enable preferences, transactions and related uses of Aggregate Knowledge services and information. These technologies do not identify you to us unless you have voluntarily provided Personal Information on our site. If you’ve set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive a warning message with each cookie. You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser, but some of the features on our site may not work if you do.

Third parties with whom we partner may use cookies, web beacons, or Flash LSOs to help us understand how visitors interact with our web site or to deliver content, such as videos. We do not have access to or control these third party technologies. The information gathered by these technologies is not tied to Personal Information submitted on our web site. Our web site includes social media features such as the Facebook Like button. These features, which are either hosted by a third party or directly on our site, may collect your IP address and the URL for the page you are visiting on our site. In order to function properly, the features may set a cookie. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company that provides them.

Media Platform. We use cookies and similar technologies such as web beacons and pixel tags in order to collect the information necessary to provide our analytics services described above. AK Cookies never contain or convey Personal Information. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file, or you may opt-out as described below.



We retain information collected through our web site for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We also retain and use this information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We retain raw, cookie-level information received through our Media Intelligence Platform for up to 13 weeks. After that, we aggregate the information so that it cannot be re-associated with an individual cookie. We retain this aggregated data for up to 18 months, and may retain an archived copy for a longer period as required by law or otherwise necessary to resolve dispute and enforce our agreements.



Aggregate Knowledge does not collect or use Sensitive Personal Information (such as Social Security Numbers or other Government-issued identifiers; insurance plan numbers; financial account numbers; information that describes the precise real-time geographic-location of an individual derived through location-based services such as through GPS-enabled devices; and precise information about past, present, or potential future health or medical conditions or treatments, including genetic, genomic, and family medical history. We do not use this kind of information for advertising; our cookies do not enable ad targeting based on that kind of information. For added protection, our contracts with our partners do not allow the use of our data to determine credit worthiness, eligibility for insurance, or for employment.



You can see if we have set an Aggregate Knowledge cookie through your browser and, if so, review the de-identified information in that cookie using the Aggregate Knowledge Profile Manager. You can opt out of the use of information for online behavioral advertising on the AK Platform Opt-Out page of our web site. You can also learn more about online advertising in general on the Network Advertising Initiative web site, which provides background information on participating companies and permits you to opt-out of receiving tailored online advertising from some or all of its members.

If you have elected to receive our promotional emails and wish to unsubscribe, you may opt-out by following the instructions included in every email.

Other Use and Disclosure of Personal Information. Aggregate Knowledge does not use or disclose Personal Information other than as described above, except:

  • With your express permission;
  • Where permitted by our customer agreements, for internal use, research, fraud prevention, and product development;
  • To (i) comply with US or foreign laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process in US or foreign civil, criminal or investigative matters, (ii) enforce agreements, our terms and conditions, and policies, and protect our rights and property as the site owner, and (iii) in an emergency to protect the personal safety of Aggregate Knowledge, its customers, or any person;
  • In an aggregated or de-identified form that does not directly identify you, including, for example, in reports containing aggregated or de-identified data that describes the demographic, usage, or characteristics of audiences as a group;
  • With third party vendors, consultants and other service providers who are working on our behalf, but we limit their access and use of Personal Information to that which is needed to carry out their work for us;
  • In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company; and
  • In the unlikely event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, the information we have collected may also be transferred as a business asset. If that happens, we will make reasonable attempts to notify you by placing a prominent notice on our Website, along with any choices you may have regarding that data.



Aggregate Knowledge may receive Personal Information about residents of the European Union and Switzerland in the course of providing DNS services (including registry services) and telephone call routing services. Aggregate Knowledge’s handling of such information complies with the U.S. — EU Safe Harbor framework and the U.S. — Swiss Safe Harbor framework as administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and we have certified our adherence to the Safe Harbor principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement. Aggregate Knowledge has implemented policies that include administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.



Aggregate Knowledge does not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not create marketing segments or knowingly enable advertising targeted to children under 18.



If your Personal Information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, or request its deletion by contacting us via one of the methods listed below. We will respond to your request to access within 30 days.

We do not have access or control of the information posted to our blog. You will need to contact or login into the third party application if you want the personal information that was posted to the comments section removed. This Policy may change from time to time. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice prior to the effective date of the changes.



Pursuant to Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code, residents of California who have an established business relationship with Aggregate Knowledge may request certain information with respect to the Personal Information we share with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
