Aggregate Knowledge works with our advertisers to aggregate anonymous user activity and enable them to provide more targeted online advertising for you. We, at AK, are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you choice. Choice comes with transparency and control.

That's why we have put together an AK advertiser registry that lists participating advertisers who have been targeting you based on non personally identifiable data (that they either collected when you visited their site or purchased from third-party sources) and to give you an opportunity to opt out of, or even opt in to, the AK platform.

Here is how our product works for you.

• Let's say you're shopping online for air travel between San Francisco and New York City. As you visit an online travel site that is an AK advertiser (or is a partner of one of our data providers such as BlueKai), an anonymous cookie is stored on your browser. (You could verify this by looking at the AK Advertiser Registry on this website.)
• Your activity (based on the cookie) lets the online travel advertiser know that you are in-market for flights between San Francisco and New York City. As a result, the advertiser will show you ads that are relevant for in-market flights between the two cities. For example, you may get a discount and/or a special offer.
• At any time, you could go to the AK Advertiser Registry and update your preference to opt out from this advertiser and remove your in-market intent. If so, you will no longer receive the discounts and/or special offers unless you opt back in.
• AK does not create or send consumers any advertisements. We are the infrastructure that supports legal and responsible use of data by advertisers. We have no incentive to retain, store, or use information about any individual consumer.
